Steven T. Hetland (Steve) has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1984. Acting as legal counselor with extensive corporate, business and litigation experience derived from his 20 plus years of private practice in large and small law firms and from his corporate general counsel experience; Steve advises both corporate and individual clients on business and professional matters, and represents them in civil trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. Steve has been trained as a Minnesota certified ADR neutral and incorporates ADR services and strategies in both litigation and business representations of his clients. A significant portion of Steve's practice involves the proactive asessment of his clients' legal needs and risks, and in providing those clients with transactional negotiation and contract drafting services.
In addition to a flexible legal mind, which allows for creative and collaborative thinking in the implementation of litigation and business strategies, Steve brings to the practice of law a disciplined work ethic, a steadfast loyalty to his clients' interest, and the proven ability to coordinate and manage highly complex legal matters in a timely, well organized, and ethical manner.
