Rick's thirty-one years of professional legal experience includes local and multi-state representation for both large and small companies, and more than eight years with a large law firm. He was certified in 2002 as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Civil Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He carries an individual "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Rick handles civil trials and appeals before state and federal courts, as well before federal and state administrative agencies. His litigation practice includes private dispute resolution services through ADR procedures. Rick devotes a significant part of his practice handling transactional work in corporate, contract and employment law, including extensive work negotiating and drafting executive and intellectual property protection agreements, as well as software development, marketing, licensing and reseller agreements.
Rick demonstrates an exceptional ability to handle both transactional work and litigation in an effective and cost-effective manner.
